In June, Forensic Architecture received the Golden Nica in the Interactive Art+ category of the 2026 Prix Ars Electronica for A Cartography of Genocide (2023– ), an interactive platform mapping Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.

American artist and composer Laurie Anderson was named the 2026 Kyoto Prize laureate in Arts and Philosophy, receiving JPY 100 million (USD 630,000) for her avant-garde practice that merges electronic music, performance, and filmmaking.
