Iraqi multidisciplinary artist Dia Al-Azzawi received the 2024 Great Arab Minds Award in Literature and Arts, with an AED 1 million (USD 275,000) prize presented at Dubai’s Museum of the Future on January 16. 

Berlin-based media artist Young-jun Tak won the 24th SongEun Art Award early this year, receiving KRW 20 million (USD 13,960) for his works that explore the intersections of LGBTQ+ identities, religion, and architecture.
