Essay: Hong Kong’s Postmodernist Critic

Cheung King Hung on Patrick Lee and Hiram To at Para/Site
In Collaboration with and Translated by Asia Art Archive from the text as originally published in 1997

This essay is a response to two projects: “Eucharist” by Patrick Lee and “You don’t know how I feel...” by Hiram To, both held at Para/Site art space in July and August 1997. The author is the late Cheung King Hung (1950–2016), also known as KH, who led a reclusive life. Educated in France, he returned to Hong Kong during the 1980s.
