On June 30, this year’s EUR 50,000 (USD 57,500) Maria Lassnig Prize, which is presented by the Vienna-based Maria Lassnig Foundation, went to Japanese American artist Carrie Yamaoka.

On July 8, Tuan Andrew Nguyen, Walid Raad, and Amanda Ross-Ho were among 12 individuals who secured the 2025 Milestone Grant from the Trellis Art Fund. Each artist will receive USD 100,000.

On July 9, the nonprofit Han Nefkens Foundation—in collaboration with five art institutions worldwide—awarded its USD 15,000 Museu Tàpies Video Art Production Grant to Syrian-born artist Huda Takriti.
