Mapping Chinese Art with Uli Sigg

Featuring an extensive selection of works from M+’s unparalleled body of contemporary Chinese art, the exhibition “M+ Sigg Collection: From Revolution to Globalisation” traces the pivotal developments in Chinese art history from 1970 to 2012. In this video, patron and diplomat Uli Sigg, who donated the collection to the Hong Kong museum in 2012, takes viewers on a tour through the show, which is spread across the newly unveiled building’s largest galleries, outlining the presentation’s chapters and sharing his insights about the pieces.
