Visitors to the fair can look forward to presentations by leading international names such as White Cube (London, Hong Kong, Paris, Seoul, New York); Thaddaeus Ropac (London, Paris, Pantin, Milan, Seoul, Salzburg); neugerriemschneider (Berlin) , Galerie Gisela Capitain (Cologne, Naples), Waddington Custot (London), Annely Juda Fine Art (London), INKstudio (Beijing, New York), Galerie Urs Meile (Lucerne, Beijing, Zurich, Ardez), Gana Art (Seoul, Los Angeles), Kaikai Kiki Gallery (Tokyo) , Goodman Gallery (Johannesburg, Cape Town, London, New York), and Ota Fine Arts (Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo), as well as the addition of exciting newcomers to the 2026 roster, including Ashvita’s (Chennai, Dubai), and a joint presentation by Antenna Space (Shanghai) and Commonwealth and Council (Los Angeles). Harper’s Gallery (New York), JW Projects (Singapore) and Wei-Ling Gallery (Kuala Lumpur), among others, return after a one-year hiatus, signaling confidence in what Magnus Renfrew, Co-Founder of ART SG, affirms as “Singapore’s role as a vibrant hub and gateway to the region.”
ART SG continues to be the definitive platform to discover Southeast Asian contemporary art, with 25 exhibitors operating spaces in the region, and the return of notable names for the 2026 edition, including Ames Yavuz (Singapore, Sydney, London); STPI (Singapore); Sullivan+Strumpf (Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne); Richard Koh Fine Art (Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur); Gajah Gallery (Singapore, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Manila), The Drawing Room (Manila) , artinformal (Manila), Yeo Workshop (Singapore), Fost Gallery (Singapore).
For its 2026 edition, ART SG will join hands with Shanghai’s Rockbund Art Museum (RAM) to present a slew of programmes and activations. The Museum’s Executive Director and Chief Curator, X Zhu-Nowell, will curate a new and dedicated Performance Art sector at the fair, featuring Brian Fuata with Daniel Jenatsch’s Instruction & Entertainment (minor gestures), a suite of comedic, structured improvisations that activate Erin Manning’s theorization of the minor gesture as a convivial mode of sensing and recalibrating the psychic and material conditions of the art fair. Singaporean artist John Clang will present Reading by an Artist, an installation-performance creating an intimate encounter that delves into themes of astrology, ritual, and shared reflection.

ART SG’s upcoming iteration of the FILM program, also curated by X Zhu-Nowell, is a curation of film, video art and moving image artworks by participating galleries, with an emphasis on showcasing new film-making practices, experimental film, or art historically resonant works, particularly by artists and practitioners from around the Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific regions. The program invites the spectator into an engagement with the image, using the darkness of the cinema as a site of contemplation, with the intention to explore the essential feature of the image: its ability to affect the viewer not through rhetoric, but through singular, subjective encounter.
Rockbund Art Museum and ART SG will also debut an innovative placemaking exhibition outside of the fair, featuring an exceptional lineup of artists hailing from Southeast Asia, Australasia and the Asia Pacific. Titled “Wan Hai Hotel: Singapore Strait,” this experimental exhibition model sees a restored heritage property turned hotel transformed into an immersive space of encounter, where site-responsive interventions, installations, performances and artist-led gatherings unfold. Revolving around archipelagic thinking and maritime identity, “Wan Hai Hotel” will feature works by Stephanie Comilang, Ho Tzu Nyen, Hoo Fan Chon, Wantanee Siripattananuntakul, Ming Wong, Robert Zhao, and Dawn Ng, alongside performances by Joshua Serafin, John Clang, Bhenji Ra, and more.
Marking another first, a new cultural sponsorship led by a private patron in collaboration with ART SG, the TVS Initiative for Indian and South Asian Contemporary Art will spotlight Indian and South Asian contemporary art, strengthening the fair’s dialogue with the region. This initiative, which brings South Asia’s rich artistic heritage and perspectives into focus, will be anchored by a dedicated exhibition showcasing established and emerging names prominent galleries such as Vadehra Art Gallery (New Delhi), Sakshi Gallery (Mumbai), and LATITUDE 28 (New Delhi), as well as full booth presentations of South Asian art from Aicon (New York), Gallery Ragini (New Delhi), Ashvita’s (Chennai, Dubai), Gallery Nyva (New Delhi), and more.

Private patrons have also come out in strong support of the fair. Returning for a second year, the SAM ART SG Fund—a benefactor-led initiative—will allocate SGD 150,000 for the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) to acquire significant works by leading and emerging artists presented at ART SG. The inaugural Fund in 2025 supported the acquisition of three key works: Yun Shin, Add Two Add One Divide Two Divide One 2023–6 (2023), presented by Lehmann Maupin (New York, London, Seoul); Kapwani Kiwanga, Magma (2024), presented by Goodman Gallery (Johannesburg, Cape Town, London, New York); and Lêna Bùi, Breathing no.2 (2024), presented by Galerie Urs Meile (Lucerne, Beijing, Zurich, Ardez).
The 2026 edition of ART SG will feature the launch of the ART SG FUTURES Prize presented by UBS, of USD 10,000, to an outstanding emerging artist featured in the FUTURES sector, reinforcing UBS’s role as a dedicated supporter and enabler of the arts. The introduction of this prize in the FUTURES sector underscores UBS’s and the ART SG’s commitment to nurturing and spotlighting new talent. It not only benefits the individual artist but also enriches the broader art ecosystem by fostering innovation and supporting the next generation of creative voices.
For the first time as well, S.E.A. Focus will debut under the ART SG umbrella. A boutique art fair previously organized under the auspices of STPI (Singapore), S.E.A. Focus offers a distinctive curatorial platform with a spotlight on Southeast Asia. John Z.W. Tung will continue as S.E.A. Focus’s curator, with artistic consultation by Emi Eu, Executive Director of STPI Creative Workshop and Gallery (STPI); the 2026 edition, titled “The Humane Agency,” will highlight contemporary art and artists as agents of change. This integration is an unparalleled opportunity for galleries, artists and institutions to connect and engage with the myriad perspectives that reflect the vibrancy of the region’s creative landscapes. Participating galleries include Silverlens (Manila, New York); AC43 Gallery (Singapore); ISA Art Gallery (Jakarta); ShanghART Gallery (Shanghai, Singapore, Beijing); ara contemporary (Jakarta); Mr. Lim’s Shop of Visual Treasures (Singapore); Gallery VER (Bangkok), among others, with presentations by artists Tang Da Wu, Arahmaiani, and Nicole Coson.

Underscoring ART SG’s commitment to fostering collaboration with privately-led foundations and institutions, The Institutum, a non-profit dedicated to expanding Singaporean art through international collaborations, will present its inaugural partnership with Hampi Art Labs, a landmark residency program set in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi, Karnataka, India. The presentation will highlight cross-cultural dialogue and ecological inquiry, showcasing works by Singaporean artist Robert Zhao and Indian artist Atul Bhalla.
Visitors to ART SG can also look forward to a presentation of Indonesian artist Melati Suryodarmo’s riveting performance work I Love You (2007), by Founding and Lead Partner UBS. Suryodarmo, who draws on her Javanese heritage and training in European performance traditions, is renowned for her durational and intensely physical works; UBS’s presentation comes on the heels of the bank’s successful commissions for past editions of ART SG, and reaffirms UBS’s long-standing commitment to supporting cultural initiatives worldwide, as well as the belief in the power of contemporary art to inspire dialogue and deepen understanding.
The wealth of programming constellated around ART SG underscores what Fair Director Shuyin Yang affirms as “our commitment to supporting a broad range of artistic practices from the region, providing a platform for experimental, interdisciplinary, and immersive works that engage audiences in new and transformative ways.” These initiatives will sit alongside a host of other programmes presented by leading visual art institutions, private collections and cultural partners during Singapore’s designated Art Week, when the city-state welcomes visitors from all over the world, and claims its place on the art calendar.
